First Defense International Group manufactures a diversified range of Bullet resistant products from Bulletproof Vests, Vehicle Armouring, Ballistic plates and shields. The company was founded in 1980 as a small defense manufacturer starting as a single proprietorship, single-product and today the company and its subsidiaries generate million in revenues. First Defense International is a privately owned company with manufacturing operations extend in several countries, and its products are exported to 32 countries around the world. We have formulated detailed strategies and established a framework for economic growth in country after country through a results orientated approach, which have proven successful.

In 1990 First Defense International embarked on a program to expand and upgrade its production and distribution infrastructure, spending millions to build new plants and improve existing facilities, equipment and technology. A majority of these new plants are situated in high-growth regions and creating employment. It also expanded its product lines to offer higher value and convenience to consumers.

The company's Management conducts courses on various management functions and responsibilities, ranging from basic finance, marketing and manufacturing to competitive strategy and the management of change. This is complemented by a continuing program of external training courses conducted by leading institutions in the country and overseas. The company's human resource strategies are capped by motivational programs that recognize and reward outstanding performance. The Employee Profit Sharing Plan provides employees a chance to increase their stake in First Defense International and its growth.
